DRE-ZAJN is a new brand, but it's built on the foundations of the company established over 50 years ago. It has deep roots in the legacy of my grandfather, Franciszek, whose passion for woodworking craftsmanship has been passed down through two generations.

1952
Since 1952, my father, Franciszek Rocki, worked as a carpenter in Pila. When I was 8 years old, my dad took me to the carpentry workshop. It made a profound impression on me - it was the first time I saw where my father worked and what he did. I remember the loud carpentry machines, sawdust filling the air, and the distinctive scent. I watched as boards were cut and milled.
In 1968, my father opened his own carpentry workshop. As I grew older, I began to assist him with various projects. Over time, I learned to work with wood independently and discovered its beauty.
Today, I pursue my own projects, selecting the most interesting wood fragments. One of my favorites is elm wood, with its picturesque color.
2018 - wood u dare?
For many reasons, the year 2018 was a year of breaking barriers and fulfilling dreams for me. One day, I made a special request to my dad - I longed for a large wooden table that would be both elegant, timeless, and modern.
And just like this, "Wood-u?" project was born.
A beautiful tabletop emerged from carefully selected, unique pieces of elm wood.
The manual brushing technique of the tabletop revealed an extraordinary surface that highlighted the soul of the wood. My dad created a table which has not yet been done before in our atelier.
